Do you serve breakfast?

Yes, we have recently developed a specific breakfast menu featuring poached eggs on sourdough, bacon & sausage sub rolls, avocado on toast, home made granola, peanut butter and banana on toast.  We can adapt menu items to suit your preferences.  We serve it Tuesday – Friday until 11am.

What alternative milks do you have?

We have oat, almond and have recently added coconut milk.

Are you dog friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes.  We welcome dogs and provide treats for visiting dogs.

Do you have any vegan/plant based cakes or menu items?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we have several vegan cakes (carrot cake, flapjacks, apple & blackcurrant crumblejack, cinnamon bun, almond croissants, hazelnut pain au chocolate and toasted teacakes)     We also have some vegan breakfast and lunch options – avocado on toast, peanut butter & banana on toast, avocado & tomato sandwich, sweet pepper and vegan pesto hot bagel and baked potatoes.  We also have vegan cheese so can make other items vegan if you ask.

Do you have any gluten free options?

We have some cakes (flapjacks, bakewell, brownie) that don’t contain any gluten ingredients, they are in a gluten environment though so not suitable for coeliacs.     We also have gluten free bread and bagels which can be used for all sandwiches or hot bagels.     Please note that we have a small kitchen and there is always the possibility of cross contamination despite our best efforts.

What coffee do you use?

Our coffee comes from Forest Edge Roasting Co. based locally in Lyndhurst.  They roast the beans in their coffee shop at the top of the high street.      We use a blend called Hedgerow  Flavour Profile: Blackberry, Milk Chocolate  Origin: Guatemala, Rwanda   Full bodied, with a deep chocolate aroma there are notes of forest berries; then a long milk chocolate finish completes this experience.     As soon as we met Robyn and tasted her coffee we knew it was perfect for Hazy Days.  And our customers agree, with many telling us it's the best they've tasted.  ​  Come and see if you agree....

Do you sell matcha?

Accepted Answer

Yes, it’s one of our most popular drinks, hot or iced.  We have a range of flavours; original, vanilla, blueberry, strawberry, pistachio, white chocolate, caramel, as well as some specials – turmeric matcha and earl grey matcha.  These can be made with dairy or dairy free milks (the coconut milk vanilla iced matcha is according to our staff “the best thing they’ve ever tasted!”), or with lemonade.

Do you sell bubble tea?

Yes, this is one of the things we’re known for.  We have a selection of fruit and milk teas with tapioca, popping boba and strawberry coconut jellies.  In the winter we also offer hot milk teas with tapioca.  Our vanilla chai bubble tea is a best seller.

Do you serve lunch?

Yes, we sell cold sandwiches, hot bagels, baked potatoes, sourdough toasties, melts, sausage & bacon rolls.  Vegan options and gluten free bread are available.  All are made to order and can be adapted if you want to add or remove something.  Please ask if there is something you fancy that’s not on the menu – if we can do it we will.  That’s how the Melts section and the Brie, Bacon & Cranberry baked potato started.     We serve this Tuesday – Friday 11am-2pm.

Why do you have a different menu at the weekends?

Saturday is market day in Lymington and the shop gets very busy.  We tried serving our usual menu to start with but it just isn’t possible when we have so many customers.  Instead we pre-make a selection of toasties and have savoury (cheddar cheese) scones which are very popular.

Do you sell ice cream?

Accepted Answer

Yes, we sell New Forest Ice Cream.  We have a whippy/soft serve machine (which we also use for our milkshakes) as well as a variety of flavours to scoop into tubs or cones.  The blackcurrant clotted cream, oriental ginger and rum & raisin seem to be most favoured.  Of course we also have the classics – vanilla, strawberry and chocolate.

Do you have Wi-Fi?

Yes, we have free customer Wi-Fi.  Customers are welcome to bring laptops and work in the shop.

What milkshakes do you have?

We sell the following milkshakes - Vanilla, Chocolate, Strawberry, Oreo, Crunchie, Biscoff, Strawberry Marshmallow, Salted Caramel Brownie and Peanut Butter & Flake.  They are all made with dairy ice cream from our whippy/soft serve machine.
